Acting Tools

Hello!
Today I am going to give out some of the tools I use when acting. If you are new to acting, these are things that you absolutely have to know. You can't act without knowing these things
and what they mean.

Volume and Projection
One of the most important tool you use when acting is volume or projection (whichever term your director/ Acting teacher uses). Volume and projection just means to speak loud enough so everyone can hear what you are saying. But this does not mean you are to yell out your lines at the top of your lungs. If you do that, your scene will not be enjoyable at all. This goes for when you are singing too.

Cheating
Now don't take this the wrong way. Cheating just means the face the whole audience when you are on stage. If you go to look at the back of the stage, and turn your whole body with you, all the audience will see is your backside. Also, when you are talking to another character on stage, don't have your whole body facing them. Turn out a little so the whole audience can see your face. So, if your director yells out "Cheat!!" while you are in the middle of rehearsal, you will know what to do.

Confidence
This is such a key tool in acting. You need to have confedence in yourself! Own the stage when you go on. Always be sure of yourself. You're acting performance will not be as good if you do not have confidence in yourself and in what you are doing on stage. If you are afraid you will mess up on your lines, go over them again and again before you go on stage. This will help calm your nerves if you have any . The same goes for singing a song or dancing a dance.

Know Your Character
If you are going to have confidence on stage, you need to know your character really well. This is a key part in acting. If you don't know your character very well, then you won't play it very well. In some acting classes, you will be given a character assignment. It basically just gets you thinking about how you will play your character in the show. In one of my future posts, I will create one especially for how to create an effective character assignment to get a good grade.

Well, you just learned 4 very good acting tools to apply to your acting to make it better. I will be creating more posts on how to become a better actor or actress. Hope you enjoyed this . Now go forth and apply these things to your acting!!!

Homework

hello everyone! Today we'moezartgal going to talk about homework. I promise this blog post will not be long and boring or make you feel even more guilty about not doing your homework right now and because you're reading my blog. This is going to be a fun a post so please keep reading. I have been homeschooled all my life, so for all you puplic
schoolers, I do know what homework is.
Now, let's start at the beginning. Here is a definition I found for homework:

1 : piecework done at home for pay
2 : an assignment given to a student to be completed outside the regular class period
3 : preparatory reading or research (as for a discussion or a debate)

Now I don't know about you, but those definitions made homework sound easy. We all have our school subjects that we either hate, or just are not good at. Don't try to denie it! Nobody is good at everything.

Now I will give a definitions of what homework REALLY is:

1. A kind of torture given by teachers or parents to the student.
2. A pice of paper that takes over your whole weekrnd.
3. Something that gets you irritable and/or streested out. Then you start thinking something like this:

Now that is what I call a definition for homework!  But if you study hard, and do your work right, this is your future:

So I enencourage you to study hard in school because it will all be worth it when you get your report card.

Please write a comment below about how you liked this post, it will be much appreciated!! :)

9/11

Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children.
-President George W. Bush,moezartgal moezartgal moezartgal vember 11, 2001

Today we remember all the lives that were lost 12 years ago today. We also remember all the sacrififices that was made.

When the first hit came everyone thought it was over, but then came the second hit. No one ever thought that something like this would happen. It was a dark day for the United States.

I think we sometimes don't really think or care about what all happened on 9/11, at least all of us kids who were only two or three years old when it happened. We may post something nice about it on Facebook or Twitter. But then we just go about our day like any other day. So many families and friends were lost.If we had lost one of our family members or friends we would look at it a completely different way, but if you didn't lose anyone you don't really care. I think we should always remember what sacrifices was made on 9/11 12 years ago. It was a important and historical day in US history.

So, this year let's start appreciating, and recognizing all that happened on 9/11.
